The Types of Anesthesia
During any kind of surgery, you will be given some type of anesthesia. These are medicines given for pain and sensation relief during surgery. Before surgery, you will have a meeting with the physician anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist. The anesthesiologist will do a review of your current medical condition and history and plan the appropriate anesthetic for your surgery accordingly. There are different types of anesthesia.
